Penn State Abington offered me an individualized course of study in the visual arts as well as a range of studies to supplement my Bachelor of Art degree.  The opportunity to engage in discussions regarding politics, rhetoric, history, and the sciences with professors from various majors created a solid foundation for an artistic career filled with options.  I credit my art instructors Bonnie Levinthal and Yvonne Love for giving me the capability, ambition, and opportunities to pursue an artistic career.  After graduating from Penn State Abington, I’ve become a participant in an exciting community of Philadelphia artists.  I have held the position of Education Assistant and Visitor Services Representative at the Institute of Contemporary Art in Philadelphia. I have also continued my academic studies to receive a Master of Fine Arts degree.  I am proud to report that I am currently an instructor at several colleges.  I thank Penn State Abington’s instructors for their sincere commitment to me as a student and fellow artist.  I look forward with great enthusiasm to a fulfilling career in the arts.
