Instructional media services in 218 Sutherland is the division of the center for teaching and learning that supports classroom technology, and provides training on the use of that technology.  IMS provides a wide variety of audio visual equipment, services and assistance to faculty, staff and student clubs and organizations on campus.

Crestron Panel Instructions

Crestron Control Panel

  1. Turn on the podium computer or DVD/VHS player or connect your laptop


  2. Press POWER button on Crestron. This will bring up the image on the podium monitor.


  3. To start the projector, push any of the inputs and the projector will turn on.  “Lecturn PC” = computer, “Aux VGA” = laptop connection


  4. When you are done, press & hold the power button for a few seconds, which turns the system off.

 

*Tips: DVD/VHS player:  check to make sure the DVD/VHS player is on the input  you want.  Some machines default to VHS when you first turn them on. If you don’t want to project your computer display for the class, select “Display Mute”
