This is a Family Feud style game show with quiz questions and Minute To Win It physical challenges. The event will also have raffles from local businesses and food from places such as Papa Johns, Chick-fil-la and Chipotle!

 

Admission: $3 before the event*, $5 at the door

All the money raised will go to the Four Diamonds Fund.

Dr. Fadigan's Fall 2013 Sustainability Leadership 200 freshman seminar class was awarded a grant to build a campus greenhouse and garden. Students from the current section are still in the process of getting the site up and running. It will be located in the field across from the conference center up against the hedgerow.

 

Our goal is to create a small campus community garden for all to utilize and enjoy.

Documentary: Growing Cities (A Film About Urban Farming in America)

Penn State Abington will host a free screening of “Growing Cities,” a documentary that examines urban agriculture as a way to revitalize cities and provide local food to its residents on Wednesday, October 1 at 6:30 p.m. Following the screening, the filmmaker and producer, Dan Susman, through a virtual connection to our sister campus Penn State Great Valley, will discuss the film and lead a discussion on urban agriculture and sustainable food supplies for a growing world population.

Student Parent Association Baby Shower Event

Islam 101

The purpose of this event is to begin the breakdown/seperation between Islam, culture, and stereotype. This event will be run by only students. Videos will be shown showing students on campus, and people off campus, and their understanding of Islam. We will then answer common questions and present common misconceptions.
