History Through Film and Music - July 28-August 1

History Through Film and Music - July 28-August 1
Course Description

Have you ever wondered if the dramatization of history through film and music is accurate? This camp focuses on how history is portrayed through the mediums of film and music, ranging from the American Revolution to the modern era. We will learn about different types of historical films and the way music can influence and describe the mood of the times.

So please join us for a trip down history lane as we explore a variety of films from Gone With the Wind, All Quiet on the Western Front, and Forrest Gump to Titanic, Platoon and Boulevard of Broken Dreams, and listen your way through history with songs such as Sweet Home Alabama, Born in the USA, We Didn't Start the Fire, and Yankee Doodle Dandy.
