By registering for EDLDR 497--"Workshop in Special Topics in Educational Leadership" --participants can earn 3 graduate credits for any of the Penn State Advanced Placement Summer Institute courses being held at Abington. Credit participants will need to attend the course and complete an additional final project at the end of the class.
To register for EDLDR 497, you must first determine your status with the university:
You are not currently enrolled at Penn State, either as a degree-seeking graduate student or as a non-degree graduate student (taking graduate-level courses for personal enrichment, professional development, or permanent certification)
You must first apply to the Graduate School using a non degree, electronic admissions form before registering for this program. Please go to the following Web site for further instructions and an application form. You will need to create an account to do this.
You have been enrolled at Penn State as a graduate student or as a non-degree graduate student and are resuming study in the same degree/major after an absence of one or more semesters (excluding the summer session). You must complete a Resume Study/Change of Graduate Degree or Major form before registering for this program. Please go here for further instructions and the form.
Once you fill out the appropriate graduate application, you need to call our office and register and pay for the course (215-881-7400).

Fee and Registration
The cost for the three-credit graduate program is:
For PA Residents:
$2208 ($736 per credit), plus a technology fee of $61 and a facilities fee of $28.
For Non-PA Residents:
$2,928 ($976 per credit), plus a technology fee of $61 and a facilities fee of $28.
