Did you know that only about half of world’s population can afford housing? This camp challenges students to tap into their creative minds to design a home that costs less than $300. Utilizing engineering and design processes, as well as an understanding of the world’s population with relationship to poverty and housing, students will explore the use of various and cost effective building materials to help plan and build a model of their new design. Students present their “award winning” solutions at the end of the week.
