Nurse gives Abington's hybrid RN to B.S. program high marks

An emergency room nurse and mother of two says the hybrid structure of the Penn State Abington R.N. to B.S. degree in nursing allows her to balance her busy life.

An impressive roster of Abington student-athletes were honored for balancing academics and athletics.

Abington student-athletes score high

More than 150 Penn State Abington student-athletes were honored for their accomplishments on the fields and courts, in academics and in life at the annual sports banquet that also marked the close of Abington’s initial year as a full member of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division III.

Penn State Abington students have multiple options to study abroad including faculty led courses with international components, and semester and yearlong programs.

The Penn State men's and women's rugby teams will compete in the 2013 USA Sevens Collegiate Rugby Championship, June 1-2 at PPL Park in Chester, Pa., near Philadelphia. NBC and NBC Sports will broadcast seven hours of coverage during the weekend. PPL Park is the home of Major League Soccer's Philadelphia Union.
