Research in my laboratory focuses on the synthesis and structural studies of small heterocyclic molecules such as constrained bicyclic proline analogues and 1,3-thiazolidin-4-ones. I am also interested in the history of chemistry, and I am presently investigating the discovery and characterization of carbon monoxide in the late 18th and early 19th centuries.
