PSU Access Account

Faculty and Staff:
If you are an employee, apply for your Penn State Access Account by completing and submitting a Penn State Access Account Form to the ITS Computer Accounts Office, 101 Computer Building, University Park . Forms are available from the ITS Computer Accounts Office , or you can fill out, print, and sign an Acrobat version of the form on the Web. (Please note that you need to install the free Adobe Acrobat Reader software in order to view, fill out, and print the form). After three business days you can obtain your user ID and password by taking your Penn State ID card to any of the PSU Abington Signature Stations:

    • G04 Lares Building
    • Library, 1st floor
    • Scheduling office, 121 Sutherland Building
    • 335 Woodland Building

If you have problems using the Penn State Access Account signature station, please contact computer support staff at the location of the signature station (if applicable) or dial 7675 to speak with a Computer Network Services Representative.

Your Responsibilities

You are expected to exercise responsible, ethical behavior when using the University's computers, information, networks or resources. To receive a Penn State Access Account, you must agree to abide by local, state, and federal laws, and University policies and guidelines . In addition, you will be required to sign the Penn State Access Account Acceptance Statement at a Penn State Access Account signature station in order for your Penn State Access Account to remain active.

Change your password as soon as your account is active. For more information see the Web page on userids and passwords .

IBIS / ISIS
This system uses the user id as your access account, but you will be
prompted to change your password every 90 days. For access to the PSU IBIS / ISIS systems, you must complete the "Office of Administrative Systems Access Form" and circulate it for the appropriate signatures. The campus Access Security Representative, Dinah Geiger, will forward the request on to UP for final approval.

EIS
For access to the PSU IBIS / ISIS systems, you must complete the "Office of Administrative Systems Access Form" and circulate it for the appropriate signatures. The campus Access Security Representative, Dinah Geiger, will forward the request on to UP for final approval.

EASIS
Go to the EASIS web page at https://bursar.warehouse.psu.edu/index.cfm and click on "request access" on the left. Complete all fields and submit. The form will be processed through UP for final approval.

Data Warehouse
Once you have access to IBIS / ISIS , you may want to obtain access to the Data Warehouse. Go to the AIS home page at http://ais.its.psu.edu/ . Click on "Data Warehouse" , then click on "Access Request". Follow the instructions under each database for access to that database. Most will require a written request through the Campus Access Security Representative, Dinah Geiger.

FIT
Once you have access to IBIS / ISIS , you may want to obtain access to the Financial Information Tool (FIT).Go to the AIS home page at http://ais.its.psu.edu/ . Click on "FIT" , then click on "Access Request". Follow the instructions provided for requesting access and downloading FIT to you desktop computer.
