| Division of Arts and Humanities |
Students in Arts and Humanities majors benefit from small classes, individualized attention from faculty, and a variety of available internships and special opportunities. Among the Arts and Humanities faculty are actors, artists, writers, and scholars in literature, communications, history, philosophy, and many other disciplines. In studying with these faculty, our students become prepared to pursue competitive internships, top-tier graduate schools, and successful careers.
Students can complete a 4-year degree at Penn State Abington in one of five majors: American Studies, Corporate Communication, English, History, and Integrative Arts.
Penn State Abington offers the first two years of many other majors in the arts and humanities. Students have the opportunity to take foundation courses here and then can transition to another Penn State campus, such as University Park, to complete the degree.
