Faculty

Penn State Abington has the good fortune to be able to attract top-notch faculty who want to teach for Penn State and would prefer to live near a large city.

These faculty enjoy teaching in a small-campus environment which features a great deal of interaction with students.

As teachers they are committed to sharing their knowledge, curiosity, and creativity in the small college environment that is Penn State Abington.

More than 80% of our full-time faculty have a terminal degree (usually a PhD), and these faculty teach all of their classes themselves; we do not have any graduate assistants teaching classes. Our faculty teaches in three academic divisions:

Division of Arts and Humanities African American studies, art and the arts, communications, English, foreign languages, history, integrative arts, philosophy, speech communication, theatre, women's studies. Faculty Listing
