Student Government Association (SGA)Student Clubs
Recognized as the official representative voice of the student body at Penn State Abington, the SGA provides responsible leadership and supports the opinions of student body. SGA strives to impact the student body through effective decision-making, communication, and leadership. SGA website.

Christian Fellowship
Offers spiritual support to students, faculty, and staff. The organization meets regularly for theological and biblical discussions. This organization is non-denominational.

Asian Student Association
Promotes friendship, support, and recreational activities among Asian American students. The organization seeks to enhance awareness and appreciation of Asian-American culture.

Black Student Union (BSU)Student Clubs
Share cultural experiences with other students, faculty, and staff, through lecture speakers, seminars, and various co-curricular events. It also acts as a median for historical information of the African American culture.

Hillel
Study Jewish culture and traditions and enables Jewish students to meet and connect in an informal social, educational, or cultural atmosphere. Open to all students wishing to share the tradition or learn about a new culture.

Italian Student Association
Promotes cultural awareness through programs and events.

Latino Student Organization
Promotes Latino cultural awareness through lecture speakers, seminars, social and cultural events.

Muslim Student Association (MSA)
Promotes awareness and understanding of the Muslim culture and community.

Praise and Worship Gospel Association
Promotes an in-depth understanding of a relationship with Jesus through worship. In addition, this organization allows students to gain a chance to learn and experience the fellowship or faith through singing.

SASA South Asian Student Association (SASA)
Expresses the traditions of India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal, to Afghanistan and Tibet. The organization's goal is to promote the richness of South Asian culture as well as educate students of different ethnic groups.

The Art Club
The art club provides opportunities for student studying art. The Art Club works to enhance the campus through special projects. The Art Club also visit museums and other excursions related to art.

Engineering Club
Provides an opportunity for communication and interaction among students and faculty in all aspects of engineering. Sponsors debates, guest speakers and special events. Club members have received national recognition for participation in robotics competitions.

Justice Association
Focuses on public policy areas in our society and enhances preparation for graduate study in law, criminology, and other fields. Conducts programs, fundraisers, and acts as an advocate of community service opportunities.

Psychology Club
Teaches students what psychology is all about through workshops and guest speakers. Enhances student awareness of the different fields one can explore through this major and what one can do with a degree in Psychology. Also, strives to increase awareness of how to deal with common problems like stress, depression and substance abuse.

Science Club
Provides opportunity for students to explore science interest outside of the classroom and also through workshops and guest speakers.

Students in Free Enterprise (S.I.F.E.)
The Penn State Abington SIFE Team is one of over 1000 national and international student groups aimed at increasing free enterprise awareness. Abington Team members have designed and implemented many programs on and off campus, which earned them finalist status in competitions. Membership provides the opportunity to make a difference and to develop leadership, teamwork and communication skills through learning, practicing and teaching the principles of free enterprise. Women In Business
Provides networking and professional development opportunities for female students prior to entering the world of work. Activities include sponsoring Women in Business panel discussions, networking events, etiquette and fashion events and community service.


Community Outreach Workers (COW)
COW is the community service organization on the Abington campus. This group sponsors monthly service projects while hosting a number of fundraising, awareness and philanthropic programs throughout the year.

Film Club
Students who enjoy film have the opportunity to view and discuss a wide range of films and genres.

Fitness Club
For those interested in a healthy and active lifestyle, the Fitness Club provides opportunities for students to join in these activities together at Abington.

FLAGSA
Discusses issues of sexuality from a gay, lesbian and bi-sexual viewpoint. Sponsors educational programs and social awareness events, which allow students to learn about and/or discuss sexuality issues in a confidential and supportive environment.

Historical Society
The Historical Society offers trips and outings to local and regional areas of historical interest.

Lares Entertainment And Programming (LEAP)
The student programming board coordinates a balance of educational, cultural, social, and entertaining events for the student body. LEAP activities include Welcome Week, comedians, Spring Fling, musical groups, Semi-Formal, and game shows. It provides a multitude of skill development opportunities that enhances a student's co-curricular experience.

Lion Ambassadors
Composed of student leaders who demonstrate enthusiasm, commitment, and energy, the Abington Lion Ambassadors serve as official hosts of the Abington campus. They provide campus tours, alumni functions, student recruitment activities, and other programs. Membership is by application and interview.

Photography Club
This club explores the many areas and interest of photography. From beginners to advanced, all students are welcome.

ROTC Rangers
Schedules trips throughout the year to nearby military installations and state parks. Open to all full-time students seeking challenging military-oriented training. Activities include rappelling, small unit tactics, marksmanship, mountaineering, and land navigation. The Rangers also sponsor various social and community service projects.

THIRD Wave
This women's organization brings awareness to the campus related to issues affecting women.

THON
THON is the largest run student philanthropy in the world. Each year, THON raises millions of dollars for the Four Diamonds Fund, which helps fight Pediatric Cancer. The Abington THON committee sponsors numerous events throughout the year to raise money for the Penn State Dance marathon that occurs every February at University Park.
