Erica Grow Speaks to Math Options Women - October 2008
"You can accomplish all your dreams," was a common theme expressed at the 2008 Math Options Program.
Erica Grow, meteorologist for 6ABC, shared her educational and career choices to a room full of students representing 6 area high schools.
Many area professional women participated in this inspiring career exploration day designed to encourage women to pursue careers involving math and science.
Students participated in hands-on workshops and panel discussions involving careers in chemistry, aviation, microbiology, engineering, mathematics, education, and science.
Math Options is a Math, Science, Engineering and Technology Career Day for High School Women.
It brings together young women and professional women from academia, medicine, government agencies, business and industry.
