Meet the Peers! - Upper-class leaders who connect with fellow first year students by providing resources, assistance and support in the First Year Seminar Classroom.

First Year Seminar Vision Statement:

“The Abington College First-Year Seminar fosters student-faculty interaction and forges the tools for academic success. The First Year Seminar is designed to help students achieve direction in their lives, confidence in their abilities, and a sense of belonging and integration into the life of the academic community. It liberates students and faculty from traditional roles and structures, bringing enthusiasm, excitement and inspiration to the classroom and beyond.”

Completing a First Year Seminar is a Penn State Graduation Requirement.
