| Sexual Harassment Resources |
In keeping with University policy, Penn State Abington is committed to providing an environment free from sexual harassment or any other form of illegal discrimination or harassment. Part of the structure that helps ensure this environment is the designation of two Sexual Harassment Resource Persons for the Abington College.
Bud Alcock - 215-881-7356, jea4@psu.edu.
These resource persons have been selected because they are longstanding members of the college community who are known and trusted. They have received training in understanding and resolving issues of sexual harassment. Each one is available to talk with members of the campus community about any concerns they may have. Contacting either of them does not commit the individual to filing a formal complaint or taking any action with which the individual is not comfortable. All conversations with them will be held in the strictest possible confidence.
If an individual is concerned about going to their offices, they may be contacted by telephone or email to arrange a meeting at a convenient location, off campus, if necessary.
The Affirmative Action Office may also be contacted directly at (814) 863-0471 for consultation and assistance in complaint resolution.
The University's revised Sexual Harassment Policy, AD41, clarifies the responsibilities of individuals who may receive complaints of sexual harassment. The policy is available on-line at http://guru.psu.edu/policies/AD41.html.
